Your horse is not generic. Neither is our advice.
Personalized nutrition assessments built around your specific horse — not a product line, not a generic protocol.
Is your horse's feed program actually working for them?
One-on-one consulting is for the horse owner dealing with something specific — a new horse, a performance challenge, a supplement stack that's gotten out of hand, or simply wanting to know that what you're doing is right.
- New horse — establish the right nutritional baseline from the start
- Hard keeper or easy keeper — objective body condition assessment and targeted plan
- Performance and competition preparation — fuel the work, not just the maintenance
- Metabolic concerns — EMS, PPID, PSSM, insulin resistance — science-based dietary management
- Digestive health — gastric ulcers, hindgut issues, colic-prone horses
- Recovery from illness or injury — nutrition that supports healing
- Supplement audit — find out what's working, what's redundant, and what's missing
- The wearable data question — "What is my horse's heart rate data actually telling me about their nutrition?"
What to expect.
Intake
Before your first session, you'll complete a detailed intake form covering your horse's history, current regimen, workload, health events, forage situation, and your specific goals. Montana reviews this before you connect, so the conversation starts from an informed place — not from scratch.
Assessment
Montana evaluates your horse's current nutrition program against their actual needs. She identifies gaps, redundancies, and opportunities — and explains the reasoning behind every observation in plain language.
Written Plan
You receive a written nutrition summary and specific recommendations you can act on immediately. Not a product list — a real plan, explained.
Follow-Up
Included with all consultation packages. Montana is available for questions as you implement the plan and can reassess as your horse responds.
