Terms of Service

Effective: April 2026

1. Scope of services

Pure Horse Nutrition, LLC ("Pure Horse," "we," "us") provides equine nutrition consulting, educational content, digital tools, and barn retainer services. Engagement is defined in writing for each client and may include initial assessments, written recommendations, ongoing availability, and access to the Pure Horse application.

2. What is NOT included

Pure Horse does not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Montana Lowden is a certified equine and human nutritionist; she is not a licensed veterinarian. Information and services provided are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or veterinary condition. You agree to consult your licensed veterinarian for any matter relating to your horse's medical care.

3. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pure Horse's total cumulative liability arising out of or related to this agreement, the website, or any services provided shall not exceed the fees you have paid to Pure Horse in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. In no event shall Pure Horse be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

4. Payment terms

Specific payment terms — including pricing, billing cadence, and refund policy — are documented in each client's engagement agreement and supersede any general pricing shown on this website. Pricing on this site is provided for reference and may be revised at any time.

5. Intellectual property

All website content, written recommendations, methodologies, and digital tools are the property of Pure Horse Nutrition, LLC. Clients may use Pure Horse materials internally for the care of their horses. Materials may not be republished, redistributed, or used commercially without written permission.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement with 30 days' written notice. Pure Horse reserves the right to discontinue service immediately if the client materially breaches the engagement agreement, requests veterinary advice, or asks Pure Horse to act outside its professional scope.

7. Governing law

This agreement and your use of the Pure Horse website and services are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Missoula County, Montana.

8. Changes

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted at /legal/terms. Material changes will be flagged on the home page. Continued use of the website or services after a revision constitutes acceptance.
